About the position
Applicants must have the following requirements: Must have Matric or equivalent qualification. If you do not hear back from us within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Must have 3-5 years of experience operating CNC gear grinding machines.
Must have experience working on KAPP NILES machines.
Must have experience grinding gears up to module 20 mm.
Must have experience with at least two of the following gear types: Spur gears, Helical gears, Internal gears, and Worm gears.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and gear specifications.
Must be competent in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometres, vernier calipers, gear testers, and surface finish comparators.
Must have an understanding of grinding wheel selection, dressing, and balancing for profile grinding.
Must be able to work to DIN Class 3-4 tolerances.
Must be willing to work overtime as required.
Must have reliable transport to Benoni.
