About the position
Job PurposeHe/She will be part of a team of three employees and will work towards the team's key functions for the Cluster's six entities: Job Function ACCOUNTING INTEGRITY OF THE CLUSTER MONTH-END REPORTING - TO HEAD OFFICE - Osiris MONTH-END REPORTING - P&L TO OPERATIONS AND COUNTRY MANAGERS PFA / BUDGET Education and Experience Requirements.
- Providing timeliness and quality reporting
- Ensuring reliability of the accounting information
- In depth cost analysis
- Monthly P & L Forecast analysis
- Monthly comments on results
- Guaranteeing the analytic consistency
- Budgeting and reforecasting
- Support for ad hoc presentation to the management and head office
- Support in financial analysis toward branches and operation managers
- Implement consistent checks on the accounting processes in the cluster - review of provisions.
- Be a whistle-blower on non-compliant processes - analyse balance sheet risks.
- Reviewing operational data and maintaining data accuracy and integrity
- Preventing errors by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting
- Ensure timeliness of the reporting
- Report on P&L, Analytical split, intra-group, and Balance Sheet
- Send reporting to operations and country manager along with analysis.
- Be the go between operations and accounting and answer operations questions.
- Suggest, implement and follow-up processesMAGNITUDEAssisting actively in completing Magnitude reports - Bi-Annual reports to head office in accordance with strict consolidation rules
- Provide assistance in preparing the budget forecasts requested by head-office.
