About the position
The purpose of Cloud Specialist will be to advance the Group's cloud strategy, in a manner that conforms to best practices. This will include designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing Microsoft cloud solutions, and encompasses the responsibility of designing and implementing processes to automate functions within the Microsoft Security and Identity landscape.
Key Responsibility
- Implement and maintain Microsoft security solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Defender, Intune, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
- Drive improvements across all pillars of Microsoft Secure Score, including the implementation of available E5 security features and associated best practices.
- Develop processes to migrate existing services to a multi-tenanted environment.
- Develop and implement processes to automate the deployment and management of M365 tenants.
- Develop and implement B2B, B2C and external identity solutions.
- Conduct regular ITGC and security audits. Plan and implement solutions to remediate per Microsoft best practice and group security standards.
- Ad hoc duties as required by management.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification within IS.
- The following certifications are essential:
- Microsoft Azure certifications in Az900, AZ500, AZ104.
- Microsoft Security certifications in SC900, SC100, SC200, SC400, SC401.
- Microsoft 365 certifications, including MS900, MS102, MD102.
- More than 8 years' experience in a technical role with having spent the preceding 5 years focused on Microsoft cloud solutions and security, including large scale implementations, low-level design, project management and/or support.
- Technical experience with cloud and hybrid environments, Entra, Device Management, SecOps, scripting, and technology management.
- Proven track record of building and securing solutions Microsoft Azure and O365 tenants.
- Implementations with DevOps and automation tools will be advantageous.
