Clinical Research and Development Specialist HBM

Location: Pretoria

Large Managed Care organisation seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Professional Nurse or Pharmacist to join the HBM department.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft detailed, option-specific funding guidelines for HBM that are compliant with the principles of evidence -based medicine and PMB guidance.
• Identify needs for health technology assessment and guide the processes of development, writing, testing and roll -outs.
• Provide clinical research on an adhoc clinical topics.
• Providing feedback to Medical Advisor (Head of HBM), HBM Operations Manager and Executive Management interaction
• Research, develop and maintain funding guidelines for use by Hospital Benefit Management teams.

Key requirements:

• Clinical Diploma or Degree (required)
• Active registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) or the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) (required)
• Matric
• Minimum 3 years managed healthcare experience
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience as a nursing practitioner or pharmacist
