About the position

Description/Synopsis:

Our client, a leading company in the financial services sector, is seeking a skilled Client Experience Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full registration process for both individual and corporate clients, providing comprehensive support throughout onboarding and ongoing client engagement. The position requires responding to various client queries, assisting with the introduction of new functionalities, and maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on the FICA Act to help mitigate financial risk.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum: Matric
  • Advantageous: Tertiary degree/diploma in a relevant field
  • Experience: Previous client liaison and/or administrative experience
Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct KYC (“Know Your Customer”), FICA checks, risk rating, and due diligence (including PEPs).
  • Open accounts with banking partners and manage associated documentation.
  • Perform compliance checks and draft documents to be sent to clients.
  • Oversee client process flow via our CRM platform.
  • Manage and update databases effectively.
  • Drive conversion of registrations and provide support for new FTCCs.
  • Handle bank audits, remediation tasks, and collaborate with banks’ AML departments.
  • Report any unusual or suspicious transactions.
  • Respond to incoming calls and handle new client queries courteously.
  • Carry out general admin tasks and filing as needed.
  • Liaise with banking partners’ Exchange Control Departments on SARB-related queries.
