Client Banking Analyst (Commercial Banking & Transformation)
Kroonstad, Free State

You'll play a key role in structuring impactful finance solutions, enabling both established and emerging enterprises to grow sustainably while contributing to food security and economic development.

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to:

  • Analyse and structure credit deals by assessing financial statements, cash flows, and business cases
  • Develop robust financial models and provide recommendations on loan viability
  • Compile high-quality credit submissions for approval by Credit Committees
  • Evaluate risk, collateral, and compliance factors in line with regulatory frameworks
  • Support the delivery of innovative funding solutions, including blended finance and sector-specific initiatives
  • Monitor and manage a portfolio to ensure financial sustainability and performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve turnaround times
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives that support inclusive growth in the agricultural sector

Key Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Finance, Business, Risk, or Investment Management
  • 3-5 years' experience in credit analysis, lending, or commercial banking
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Experience in a financial services or lending environment
  • Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in agriculture or development finance will be advantageous
