About the position
Background:
Our Client who is in the Healthcare sector, is looking for a Client App IT Support Specialist to provide IT support within the Healthcare/Medical industry - Oncology/Renal
nalMinimum Requirements:
- ITIL Foundation Certified is a prerequisite
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Technology (IT)
- At least 5 years related working experience
- 2-3 Years’ direct experience in Managing IT Systems from a business point of view
- 2-3 Years’ experience in analysing and defining business requirement specifications
- Application Support Experience essential
- Experience within in a healthcare services environment (preferably having worked within Oncology or Renal)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting all clinical systems and applications in the portfolio
- Serve as the Custodial “Owner” and Subject-Matter Expert for the applications/systems
- Support the day-to-day use, performance and maintenance of the applications/systems, changes, improvements and enhancements to the applications/systems and involvement in all projects
- Support Users; troubleshooting network and server hardware issues
- Configure personal computers and mobile devices
- Manage systems and software applications
- Resolve telecommunication and network communication issues, including Wi-Fi
- Ensure that data security, privacy and governance procedures and guidelines are up to date, implemented and monitored
- Provide project support for new practices and solutions, in terms of installing adequate IT infrastructure
