Client Analyst

About the position

As a Client Analyst within the CB&SI division, you'll play a key role in supporting strategic banking relationships across the central region. You'll partner with Relationship Managers to:

• Analyse and prepare high-quality credit submissions for credit committees.
• Manage loan origination systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance in all data captured.
• Support pre-disbursement processes, including SAP Banking and SAP Collateral Management functions.
• Assist with transactional banking, collections, and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate across teams - Credit, Legal, Risk, and Client Service - to ensure seamless delivery and compliance.

Your analytical insight and meticulous attention to detail will ensure each transaction supports growth and sustainability in one of South Africa's most vital sectors.

Requirements

• A relevant 3-year qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher) in Accounting, Commerce, Risk Management, or Investment Management.
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Business or Credit Analyst, ideally within commercial or corporate banking.
• Strong understanding of SAP Core Banking Systems and financial risk principles.
• Experience in the financial services or lending environment - exposure to agriculture will be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and client relationship skills.
