What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll manage the accounting function for a portfolio of international clients, preparing management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT calculations and month-end reporting on cloud-based accounting systems like Xero. Your role will include corresponding with overseas clients, assisting with audits, preparing payment runs and supporting the tax team with the information they need to deliver on deadlines. You'll also have the opportunity to guide support staff where needed and contribute to process improvements across the team. Where you'll be doing it Our client is a well-established international firm providing accounting, tax, and business advisory services to multinational clients. Their office is in Bryanston, their hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Fridays till 3pm. There is one day work from home. The company fosters a professional yet supportive environment, valuing autonomy and continuous learning. You'll work with a lovely bunch of about 20 colleagues and they all know how to knuckle down and get work done. They deliver high quality work for their clients with constant deadlines. What you'll need You'll need a recognised accounting or bookkeeping qualification together with solid experience which includes balance sheet and income statement. Ideally you've had experience in an accounting practice or audit firm environment managing multiple clients or you've worked with different branches of your company. Exposure to international clients will be highly advantageous, along with experience on Xero and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Strong VAT knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively are essential.
