Civil Technologists/Engineers

About the position

We are seeking two experienced Civil Technologists/Engineers to join our Johannesburg and Pretoria offices.

The successful candidates will support the engineering team by assisting with design work, drafting, client liaison, technical proposals, and project documentation.

This role requires strong technical engineering skills, excellent planning and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Engineering (relevant discipline)
• Registered with ECSA as a Candidate Engineering Technician (Required)
• AutoDesk, Civil 3D, AutoCAD
• Must be able to undertake draughting
• 5+ years’ experience

Key Responsibilities

• Support the engineering team to complete design work on time and within budget
• Assist with preparation of technical proposals
• Act as designer on identified project components
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Process survey and site investigation information
• Apply general drawing control practices
• Prepare Bills of Quantities
• Develop and review specifications and design criteria
• Prepare procurement documentation
• Compile relevant project documentation
• Formal report writing and professional presentation of work
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and legislation
