Contract: January 2026 – December 2026
A reputable company in the water engineering sector is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer / Technologist with experience in water conservation and demand management.
The successful candidate will implement and supervise water efficiency projects, lead on-site teams, and ensure all project objectives are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
The role involves managing multiple workstreams and overseeing a team of civil technicians, field technicians, and general workers.
Requirements:
B.Tech (Civil) / B.Eng (Civil) / B.Sc.Eng (Civil) from an accredited university
Registered as a Candidate with ECSA
4+ years’ post-qualification experience in municipal water projects, water demand and conservation, metering, water distribution, and reticulation
Proven experience managing engineering projects and leading multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of municipal products and relevant bylaws
Strong understanding of water conservation practices
Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to multiple sites
South African citizen
