About the position
Our client, a leader in power generation, is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join their Nuclear Project Management team. The appointed Engineer will be responsible for managing and producing required civil engineering deliverables across a portfolio of specialised infrastructure projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Civil Engineering Degree
- ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) / Professional Engineering Technologist (PrTechEng) - Active status
- Extensive proven experience in nuclear power projects
Key responsibilities:
- Perform civil analysis and modelling activities as required by the project
- Perform civil design reviews
- Perform civil project surveillance and project monitoring reports
- Perform civil quality control plan (QCP) reviews
- Perform inspection and test (ITP) and Method Statement (MS) reviews
- Perform construction inspections, sign-off of QCPs and ITPs as appropriate based on the inspection results
- Provide civil engineering advisory service
