About the position
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional who enjoys leading projects and thriving in challenging, remote environments. You'll play a crucial role in overseeing key civil engineering projects from start to finish.
Requirements:
- A BSc/BEng/BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years' experience in the construction environment, with a strong background in civils.
- Experience in managing construction projects.
- SACPCMP professional registration or be in the final stages of the registration process (pending professional interview).
- NEC contract experience and prior exposure to Transnet projects.
Your Skills and Knowledge
- A solid understanding of construction processes and trades.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, programs, and timeframes.
- Proficiency in setting out and levelling.
- Knowledge of materials, plant, and equipment.
- Experience with site administration systems and cost control/reporting.
- Proven ability to coordinate construction teams and materials.
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation and its implementation.
