About the position

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team oftechnologists.


As a Civil Engineer, you'll be responsible for compiling water and/or sewer master and/or storm water plans and master plan reports.


 

What you’ll do:



  • Carrying out network modelling and analysis using WADISO, SEWSAN and HYDROSWMM software or similar

  • Learning and working closely with CAD, GIS and GIS projects and handling large volumes of data

  • Utilising GLS systems and software to produce water, sewer and storm water master plans

  • Perform “bureau” services to municipal clients by updating models and master plans

  • Conducting assessments to determine capacity in municipal water and sewer networks to accommodate new developments

  • Providing input on new features for GLS software

  • Writing technical reports

  • Performing additional work outputs related to the role


Your expertise:



  • Function related experience: Minimum of 4 years

  • Project experience: 2 years

  • Site Experience leading to PrEng registration


Qualifications required:



  • Engineering Degree


Preferred Qualifications:



  • B.Eng/M.Eng (Civil) or BTech (Civil) or Technician (Civil)

  • PrEng or PrTech registration


 

Other information applicable to the opportunity:



  • Permanent Position

  • Location: Pretoria

  • Travel: Will be traveling to client sites and must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
