About the position

CICS Systems Programmer Responsibilities



  1. Provide direct technical support as needed in the planning, coordination, installation, implementation and testing of releases, upgrades, or changes to CICS and ISV products.

  2. Upgrade / Install and migrate of CICS Transaction servers.

  3. Capable of Upgrading / Installing and supporting IBM ISV related Products.

  4. Diagnose CICS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.

  5. Knowledge about the CICS functionality and architecture.

Experience



  1. 5+ years’ experience in z/OS system programming.

  2. Knowledge in day-to-day CICS systems programming support.

  3. Working knowledge of z/OS, Unix System Services, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM, Third party products.

  4. Experience in CICS transaction server, related ISV products.
