Our client, has a high-impact executive role opportunity, Chief Officer: Municipal Finance, Fiscal Policy & Economic Growth, based in Pretoria, that sits on the organisation's Executive Management Team and is central to transforming fiscal frameworks, promoting economic growth, and improving municipal financial sustainability.

What you'll be doing:
- You'll lead integrated national portfolios covering public finance reform, regional and local economic development, infrastructure service delivery, and trade and investment support for municipalities.
What you'll need:
- A postgraduate qualification (preferably a Master's, MBA, or equivalent) in finance, economics, public policy, or municipal development.
- 10+ years' executive experience, including 5+ years in the local government or public finance sector.
- Extensive experience in strategy, stakeholder relations, and managing complex, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong track record in lobbying, advocacy, and legislative influence at national and provincial levels.
Are You the Right Fit?
- Do you have a postgraduate or Master's qualification in public finance, economics, or governance?
- Have you held executive positions in finance, fiscal policy, or economic development?
- Can you lead national advocacy initiatives influencing government legislation and funding mechanisms?
- Have you driven large-scale finance reform or revenue enhancement projects in the public sector?
- Do you have experience overseeing intergovernmental relations at senior political and administrative levels?
