About the position

We are seeking an experienced Mine Safety Officer  in Benoni to join our team and ensure a safe and compliant mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce MHSA compliance and site safety procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits.
• Investigate incidents and compile reports.
• Maintain statutory safety records and liaise with the DMRE.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate.
• SAMTRAC / COMSOC / NEBOSH certification.
• SACPCMP registration (or registrable).
• 5+ years mining safety experience (open cast essential).
• Valid driver’s licence.
