What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll take charge of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis across diverse regional entities, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. Leading a skilled team of Accountants (financial professionals), you'll inspire performance while fostering professional development in a collaborative environment. You'll oversee all the KPI"s for the finance team with a big focus on mentoring, coaching and strategy. We're specifically looking for someone that is hands on and not just focused on delegating, you need to be happy to get stuck in yourself. You'll be working in a medium sized company that is evolving and requires hands on attention and the ability to be agile and be calm and focused in a fast paced environment. For the probation period, you'll be fully office based. Thereafter there is a hybrid situation with 1 - 2 days' work from home. What you'll need We're looking for a highly capable finance professional - either a CA with 5 years post articles experience (in a similar role) or a BCom with about 10 years solid financial experience which includes at least 5 years of leadership experience, able to operate competently at CFO level. You should be highly organised and have the ability to see the finance function from a business perspective. A clear understanding of GAAP or IFRS, along with experience in tax and legal compliance on a global scale, is essential. You'll ideally have some exposure working in a technical type industry like engineering, construction, renewable energy etc. As well as coming from predominantly a medium sized company as this is far from a large corporate with a silo environment. We're looking for a great team leader with a strong understanding and skill of resource allocation, someone that is a great mentor and leads with empathy and focus.
