Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the position

We're seeking a strategic, commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a rapidly growing fashion venture. This role is critical to driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. You'll oversee all financial management aspects, including reporting, forecasting, risk management, and compliance, while providing essential financial and commercial input across merchandising, pricing, and supply chain.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the CEO on strategic roadmap execution.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Managing working capital and cash flow to ensure liquidity.
• Supporting future fundraising activities.
• Ensuring accurate financial reporting and IFRS compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader (minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role), ideally in a fast-paced, inventory-led retail environment. Experience with fundraising and scaling startups is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline. CA or CFA preferred.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills. Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and consolidation/reporting software. Strong communication abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, adaptable, and a strong commitment to ethical standards.
