About the position
An opportunity has arisen for an Interim CEO who, based in Johannesburg whilst reporting to our client's overseas-based Group CEO, will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the South African business units, ensuring business continuity, profitability and growth during a transitional 12-month period.
Managing a team of Commercial, Operations, HR and Finance executives, the successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and driving financial performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive leadership, business optimisation and financial management, gained in a heavy engineering, industrial manufacturing environment. M&A experience will be seen as an advantage.
