About the position

Chief Executive Officer
(CEO)

Market related salary offered.
It is the responsibility of the CEO to represent the interests of the Industry and the producers, with the aim of maximizing the long-term profitability and sustainability of its members; Implementation of the mission, vision and strategy; Assist/Facilitate the Board in formulating strategies to support the vision and mission; Overall performance of the company according to the strategic mandate; Budget development and implementation ; Leadership and direction of the top management team ensuring that they formulate and implement policies and plans appropriate to the strategy; Work closely with the COO and management team, to ensure correct structure and succession planning for the organization; Assist in driving industry transformation; Management of key stakeholder relationships; Stakeholder interaction and communication; Corporate Governance and compliance; Market Access and Development; Analyzing problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure growth of the company. Citrus and Agricultural Industry expereince is a must.
Education & Experience:

• Proven experience as CEO or relevant senior role, min of 10 years.
• Experience in developing strategy and implementing vision.
• Effective Change Management experience including implementation and communication thereof.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Tertiary Education (MSc/MA in Business Administration and/or Agric. Economics or similar)
