About the position
Job summary:
Lead the development , implementation and oversight of all enterprise database [URL Removed] incumbent will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, governance, security and scalability of SQL Server environment and data platforms, while supporting the organisation's digital transformation agendaand regulatory obligation.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic and Operational oversight
- Database administration & engineering
- Data governance & compliance
- Stakeholder engagement & reporting support
- Teamleadership & capability development
Qualifiactions:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology,Computer Science or related discipline (post graduated preferred)
- Minimun 8-10 yearsof SQL Server database administration experience
- At least 3 YEARS IN SENIER OR LEADERSHIP ROLE
- Expertise in clustered SQL environments, SSIS/SSRS, Power BI intergration and warehousing
- Knowledge of data governance, backup architecture and regulatory compliance (POPIA, ISOO 27001)
