The Role: Chemical Engineer
This role exists to design, implement and optimise chemical processes that improve operational efficiency and safety in a manufacturing setting. The focus is on analysing production systems, resolving technical challenges, and contributing to process improvements aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a chemical engineering role
- Design and optimise chemical processes for manufacturing operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve production process issues
- Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety in plant operations
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
About You
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and process compliance
- Hands-on approach with attention to detail
- Able to work independently and within a team in a high-pressure environment
