Job Summary:Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their Pietermaritzburg office. This is a leadership role within a well-established national accounting and audit firm, where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations across the Audit, Accounting, and Tax departments. The role requires a dynamic individual who can drive quality control, staff development, business growth, and client satisfaction, while contributing to the firm’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level management across the Audit, Accounting, and Tax departments nationally
- Drive business development and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy
- Review, approve, and sign off on all financial reports
- Oversee and enforce quality control standards throughout the firm
- Supervise, mentor, and manage training and development of staff
- Monitor and manage branch revenue targets and performance metrics
- Lead and implement various projects across departments
- Act as, or be willing to act as, a SAICA Training Officer
- Maintain and grow an existing client portfolio (preferred)
Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience:- Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA)
- Must be a Registered Auditor (Assurance)
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in an audit firm
