About the position
A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a dynamic Channel & Public Sector Account Executive to join their sales team. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused sales professional with strong account management experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service within the ICT industry
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organisations.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across products and value-added services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, projects, and account-related matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions and exceptional customer experience.
- Support tender and public sector processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and bid submissions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, and client activity reporting.
- Drive customer retention and proactively manage churn risks.
Requirements
- Matric qualification.
- Minimum 5 years' account management experience within the ICT sector.
- Public sector experience is highly advantageous
- Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and tender processes.
- Strong client-facing, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Proven CRM and sales systems experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
