About the position

Role Overview
Our client is currently delivering a SAP Greenfield implementation and is seeking an experienced SAP Change Manager to lead the people, process, and organisational change aspects of the programme.


The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring business readiness, user adoption, and successful transition to the new SAP landscape by defining and executing an end-to-end Change Management strategy aligned to the programme roadmap.




RequirementsKey Responsibilities
Change & Adoption

  • Define and own the Change Management strategy for the SAP Greenfield implementation


  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and change readiness assessments


  • Design and execute change interventions to support adoption across business units


  • Manage organisational change risks and mitigation plans


Stakeholder & Communication
  • Identify and manage key stakeholders across business and IT


  • Develop and execute a communication plan aligned to project milestones


  • Facilitate executive and business leadership engagement


  • Act as the primary change liaison between the programme team and the business


Training & Enablement
  • Work closely with SAP Functional Leads and business SMEs to define training needs


  • Oversee the development of role-based training materials


  • Coordinate end-user training, super-user enablement, and knowledge transfer


  • Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live adoption activities


Governance & Reporting
  • Establish change governance, metrics, and reporting structures


  • Track change adoption, training effectiveness, and user readiness


  • Provide regular updates to Programme Leadership and Steering Committees


Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
  • Proven experience as a Change Manager on SAP implementations, ideally Greenfield


  • Strong understanding of SAP transformation lifecycles (Prepare, Explore, Realise, Deploy)


  • Demonstrated experience in Organisational Change Management (OCM)


  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


  • Experience working in large, complex, multi-stakeholder environments


Desirable
  • Experience in Africa-based or emerging market projects


  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations


  • Familiarity with Prosci / ADKAR or similar change frameworks


  • Experience working in culturally diverse environments


Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Business, HR, Psychology, Information Systems, or related field


  • Change Management certification (Prosci, APMG, etc.) — advantageous
