You're technically sharp, analytically minded, and passionate about financial planning. With high attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, you pride yourself on being professional, trustworthy, and thorough. You enjoy diving into financial data, supporting advisors, and producing high-quality reports that guide sound financial decisions.
You'll play a vital support role in the wealth management process, preparing detailed asset allocation reports, financial needs analyses, and proposals for both new and existing clients. You'll draft documentation such as Records of Advice and Replacement Records, contribute to the innovation of client reports, and assist with meeting packs for Family Office clients. Your technical expertise will also be valued in supporting performance queries, developing product strategies, and troubleshooting with the wider advisory team.
You'll be joining a respected and growing wealth management firm with a strong reputation for client-centred financial planning. To thrive here, you'll need at least 3 years' experience as a Paraplanner in the wealth management sector. A BComm degree and a Postgraduate Degree in Financial Planning are essential, along with being well on your way to the CFP designation. You should be highly proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word), and experience with Morningstar Direct would be advantageous. A solid grasp of financial products and regulations is key. Only candidates living in the southern suburbs of Cape Town can be considered.
