JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic transition of remaining brands into Riverfields and Midrand DCs (for home wear), ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Retail Brands to develop and implement strategies that optimise the utilisation of Distribution Centre (DC) space.
- Oversee the timely clearance of Fashion and Seasonal stock post 12 weeks, ensuring inventory turnover aligns with business objectives.
- Manage the flow of Core stock to maintain optimal levels, targeting less than 8 weeks cover.
- Determine the most suitable Distribution Centre for each product type, balancing rapid response needs with traditional DC capabilities.
- Proactively engage with logistics and brands to anticipate and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Partner with Bash and Brands to ensure the online availability of new styles, driving e-commerce growth.
- Implement and monitor online ring-fencing and holdback strategies, aiming for 70% central fulfillment.
- Oversee the application of RONE Allocations with brands, ensuring key parameters are met to optimise DC performance.
- Address and resolve ad-hoc supply chain-related queries, providing expert guidance and support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 5 years' experience in supply chain and central planning
- In-depth understanding of Retail and Supply Chain
