Job Title: CCTV Junior Technician

Salary: From R12K to R16K, based on qualifications and experience.

Their core services include building management and access control. The business specializes in IP surveillance and fire detection. They target commercial offices, hospitals, and residential estates. What You'll Be Doing

• Install network cabling for IP surveillance and security cameras.
• Configure video management system software for business clients.
• Mount and position camera hardware on client sites daily.
• Troubleshoot hardware faults on recording devices and IP endpoints.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on integrated access control setups.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of Milestone software and DAUHA and Heat Vision cameras would be an advantage.

• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent educational certification.
• Possess a valid South African driver’s license for travel to customer sites.
• Hold an IT networking certification for basic system configurations.
• Maintain PSIRA registration for electronic security personnel.

Required Experience

• Apply two years of experience installing electronic security equipment.
• Show proficiency with major video surveillance software platforms.
• Use a strong understanding of IP networking and routers.
• Apply hands-on experience with tools and wire crimping devices.
• Interpret basic technical schematics and building floor plans correctly.
