About the position
We are seeking experienced CCNP-certified Network Operations Engineers to join our team and ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in routing, switching, and high-availability protocols, and a proven track record in network operations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure reliable and secure network access across the organization.
- Schedule and perform routine network maintenance and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues.
- Identify recurring network problems and implement effective solutions.
- Manage switch backups, configurations, and network documentation.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware as required.
- Respond promptly to IT support tickets and provide efficient resolutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in routing, switching, and high availability protocols.
Qualifications:
- Matric certificate and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco CCNP certification is required; additional certifications such as CCNA or CCIE are a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in network support or IT operations.
- Minimum 7 years of experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar environment.
