About the position

This is a 12-month internship programme.

The stipend for these internships will be R5000 per month.

SOUTH AFFRICAN HERITAGE RESOURCES AGENCY:
(6 Internships):

South Africa produces more qualified graduates than there are available opportunities in the labor market. Therefore, it is imperative that the South Africa Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA) opens opportunities for young people to gain work experience within the Heritage Resources Sector. The main purpose of this Internship Program is to facilitate skills development within SAHRA, attracting and inviting young graduates to apply for Internships to contribute to achieving SAHRA's objectives and goals.

The Internship Program is designed for South African citizens who are recent graduate looking for employment and exposure in the Heritage Sector.

AIMS OF THE PROGRAM:
To identify young vibrant individuals who demonstrates a passion for their chosen field within the Heritage Sector.

To offer recent or soon to be graduates an opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience in their chosen field.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2021:
1) Unit: Human Resources - 1 Intern.
Qualifications:

• 3 Year Degree /National Diploma Human Resource Management.

2) Unit: Heritage Protection - 1 Intern.
Qualifications:

• 3 Year Degree/National Diploma in Heritage Studies.

3) Unit: Legal Services - 1 Intern.
Qualifications:

• 3-year Degree/BTech Legal Qualification.

4) Unit: Build Environment - 1 Intern.
Qualifications:

• 3-year Degree in Heritage/History/ Building Environment Field.

5) Unit: Burial Grounds and Graves - 1 Intern.
Qualifications:

• 3 -year Degree in Heritage /History Studies.

6) Unit: Finance Department - 1 Intern.
Qualifications:

• 3-year Degree/Diploma in Finance.
