About the position
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a specialised cardiac services team in the Western Cape. This opportunity is ideal for a nursing professional with Cath Lab experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a technologically advanced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Assist medical practitioners during Cath Lab procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and quality standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver excellent patient care
Requirements:
- Matric
- Professional Nursing Qualification
- Current registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification nursing experience
- Proven Cath Lab experience
- Certificate or Diploma in ICU/Critical Care will be advantageous
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
