About the position
The Category Manager will be responsible for managing the school stationery category. This would include sales growth, sales management, budgeting, and stock management. Key responsibilities include: The role requires a Matric qualification, a Degree/Diploma in Business, Sales, or Marketing, and at least 10 years of experience in a management position in a similar environment. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, the ability to manage high-pressure deadlines, and a track record of achieving targets. The role demands an assertive, energetic, and creative individual with a passion for sales and business development. This role will be based in Germiston with occasional travel required.
