About the position

A Global Home Improvement and DIY retailer providing products and solutions for construction, renovation, décor, and gardening seeks a Category Manager to Start Immediately.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data-driven omnichannel category strategy aligned to customer needs, market trends and business priorities.
• Lead customer insight activities, including store visits, surveys and product reviews, to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Build and manage sustainable, relevant product ranges using Core/Periphery and UCCP principles.
• Define range architecture, supplier strategy and negotiate strong commercial terms.
• Partner with the Pricing team to set pricing rules and select products for national promotions.
• Monitor competitor activity to ensure competitive pricing and assortment.
• Work with Merchandising to design effective layouts and planograms that elevate product visibility.
• Ensure online product data, content and value propositions are accurate and consistent across all channels.
• Collaborate closely with stores through pre-collections and feedback loops to resolve quality, availability and customer concerns quickly.
• Use AI and digital tools to improve analysis, decision-making and productivity across the category.
• Lead and develop the Product Management and Data Quality team, driving performance through clear KPIs, coaching and development plans.
• Ensure full compliance with product regulations and internal standards.
• Support responsible sourcing and contribute to sustainable category development.
