About the position
Job Opportunity: Cashier - Chatsworth, Durban (Immediate Start)
Location: Chatsworth, Durban
Start Date: Immediate
We are urgently seeking a Cashier for a retail environment based in Chatsworth. Only candidates who reside in Chatsworth or the closely surrounding areas will be considered.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must reside in Chatsworth or nearby surrounding areas
- Passed Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum Level 5 in Maths Literacy in Grade 12 (essential)
- Willing and able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous retail or cashier experience will be an advantage
- Strong customer-service skills and professional communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handling cash, card payments, and till balancing
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at cashier stations
- Assisting with general store duties when required
