About the position
Large Supplier of automotive parts based in JHB, Selby, seeks Cashbook Clerk.
Large Supplier of automotive parts based in JHB, Selby, seeks Cashbook Clerk.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full cashbook function, including bank reconciliations, following up and clearing of reconciling items, daily cash management, foreign payments and other ad hoc payments.
- Accurate capturing of bank statements - daily
- Accurate and timeous reconciling and balancing of Partquip Group sundry, trade creditors and debtors cash book
- Efficient handling of all bank related queries
- Accurate filing (Absa Bank statements)
- Closing of cash books
- Print related cashbook printouts for filing
- Accurate and timeous monthly cashbook reconciliation for the management accounts.
- Assistance in any other general accounts department duties as instructed by the Group Accountant
Requirements:
- Matric
- Basic Excel is a requirement
- A fundamental understanding and ability to do a Bank Reconciliation is essential
- Previous experience as a Cashbook clerk (2-5 years’ experience)
