About the position
CALL CENTRE AGENT - DURBAN
Nutun - Durban is looking for high performing Call Centre Agents to join their team.
About this role:
To contact debtors in order to collect on accounts which are in default and arrange payments in a professional and effective manner.
Furthermore to recover delinquent debt through the use of the in house legal processes in order to bring to effect the relevant application of legal documentation required to collect revenue.
Minimum requirements (Qualifications and Experience):
- Grade 12.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (added advantage).
- Proficient in English.
- Quality Assurance.
- Previous Excellent Collections Track Record (added advantage).
- Debt Collecting.
- Trace Delinquent Debtors.
Key Performance Areas:
- Arranging for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules based onDebtors' financial situation.
- Confirming right party contact.
- Confirming and/or update debtor's details:
- Banking details.
- Employer information.
- Repayment method and frequency(Weekly, fortnightly or monthly).
- Probing and determining reason for non-payment and update the system accordingly.
- Negotiating payment arrangement with the debtor within set mandates.
- Loading Promise to Pay (PTP) on system as agreed with debtor.
- Capturing notes on system regarding important information andarrangement with debtor.
- Summarising and confirming payment arrangement with debtor.
- Saving the account according to the appropriate metal state.
Technical Attributes:
- MS Office skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the following legislations:
- National Credit Act.
- Prescription Act.
- Magistrates Court Act.
- Knowledge and understanding of the MBD Inc. systems:
- Cheetah.
- Analyse Data.
