About the position
Job Title: SAICA Trainee
Location: Durban
The Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their team as a SAICA Trainee. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to train as a Chartered Accountant and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
- Conducting audits and other assurance engagements
- Performing financial analysis and providing recommendations to clients
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions
- Completing assigned tasks accurately and within deadlines
- Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Currently enrolled in the SAICA Training Programme
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in the accounting profession
