About the position
A growing technology team is seeking an experienced Intermediate C++ Developer to support and enhance fuel automation software solutions built on contactless smart card technology. The role involves both new development and maintenance, as well as close collaboration with system users, testers, and implementation teams. You will report directly to the Software Development Manager and should be comfortable working both collaboratively and independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, extend, and maintain existing C++ software solutions.
- Collaborate with system users, testers, and implementation teams to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Provide clear and concise documentation.
- Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of development experience post-qualification.
- Strong C++ development experience (4+ years).
- Proficiency with MySQL or similar databases (4+ years).
- Solid understanding of networking, VPNs, and routing.
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, high-quality code.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Advantageous but not required:
- Docker

- Linux
