About the position
Job Opportunity: C# Developer | Stellenbosch, Cape Town
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days in-office, Stellenbosch)
As a C# Developer, you’ll be directly involved in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), shaping, coding, and refining solutions from concept to launch
What you will be doing:
· Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business and technical requirements into powerful product deliverables.
· Turn requirements into technical specifications and carry out impact analysis of proposed solutions.
· Implement specifications and develop innovative new features.
· Manage version control with Git – updating tools, merging code, and maintaining development streams.
· Conduct product testing before handing over to QA.
· Showcase your work in product demos and contribute to user documentation.
· Work independently or as part of a team, always encouraged to share insights and solutions in a collaborative space.

RequirementsWhat you’ll bring:
· An IT qualification or 3+ years’ experience in a similar software development role.
· Solid experience with:
o C#
o .Net Core 3.1
o Restful APIs
o Source Control (Git)
o Entity Framework Core
· Bonus skills (nice-to-have):
o Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
o Domain Driven Design (DDD)
o Distributed Computing (Microservices)
o Knowledge/experience in insurance, insurtech, financial services, or fintech
