About the position
An established company within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team in Nelspruit. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your procurement expertise in a dynamic industrial environment.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement
- Accurate requisition and order management
- Constantly liaising with suppliers, reviewing performance
- Continuous stock management
- Import order management
- Admin & Filing
- Driving duties as business requires
- Personnel management of store
Minimum Requirements & Experience
- Grade 12 with pure mathematics and physical science
- NQF 6 or higher in Supply Chain / Purchasing Management
- 3+ years’ experience in Procurement, preferably in Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Customs Act with experience in Import and Export (desirable)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
Skills Required
- Must have a valid driver’s license (code B / 8)
- Must be able and willing to work overtime when business requires including over weekends
