About the position

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate for the best price, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with production and QA teams to design packaging solutions that enhance product visibility and appeal.
• Process requisitions, track orders, and keep production updated on order status.
• Manage stock levels and update inventory records accurately.
• Arrange transport of goods, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with ISO standards to support audits.
• Generate and process branch orders.
• Deliver on departmental KPIs (e.g., supplier OTIF+Q, reduced demurrage costs, efficiency improvements).
• Upload supplier price lists and documentation onto relevant platforms.
• Resolve any invoicing, quantity, or price discrepancies.
• Collect and capture BBBEE certificates.

Qualifications & Experience

• BCom Supply Chain/Logistics, CIPS, APICS, or a similar qualification.
• 0-3 years' experience in procurement or supply chain (import logistics and international trade experience advantageous).
• Proficiency in ERP and software systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
