About the position
To order material /finished goods to meet production and sales requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for material/finished goods.
- Sourcing material/finished goods at competitive pricing.
- Ensure orders are placed on time, taking into considerations the long lead times.
- Expedite and follow up deliveries daily.
- Work with planners to re-schedule as necessary.
- Source Vendors and review vendor performance.
Key Requirements
- Grade 12
- Purchasing Diploma
- 3 year experience as a buyer in a FMCG or pharmaceutical company
