Role Summary
The Butchery Manager leads the butchery department to deliver excellence in product quality, customer experience, and profitability. This role is pivotal in driving Pick n Pay's Fresh strategy, ensuring that the butchery is not only operationally sound but also innovative, customer-focused, and aligned with evolving consumer trends.
Requirements
Minimum requirements
Grade 12 / Matric / NQF 4
3 years Butchery experience with at least 1 year in supervisory role
Competencies
Skilled in cutting, manufacturing, and merchandising butchery products.
Proficient in operating butchery equipment and applying safe work procedures.
Strong customer service orientation with a passion for Fresh products.
Ability to adapt quickly to new information, trends, and technologies.
High energy levels, resilience, and a growth mindset.
Good communication skills.
