What you will be expected to do as a Business Unit Coordinator

• Work together with the Safety Representatives and HSE Coordinator to ensure that the department complies with the requirements of Health & Safety policies
• Assist the Material Controller with the control and monitoring of finished goods moving into and out of the department
• Assist with accurate weekly stock takes of finished goods and consumables
• Manage reconciliations and capture data associated with raw material control
• Update efficiency schedules on a daily basis
• Update weekly wages and other production schedules
• Perform general administrative duties as required by the Production Team Leader and Executive
• Update the register of NCQR and CFARs to monitor trends and statistics
• Follow up on DRM actions
• Submit and follow up on trials and associated ISIR requests
• Assist with staff and general queries

What skills you will need in this position:

• Minimum of a Degree. BCom Supply Chain or BBA preferable
• Maths or Accountancy passed in Grade 12 is essential
• At least 3 years' experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or a similar environment
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics will be advantageous
• Excellent computer skills, especially Excel. SAP experience advantageous
• A robust, highly energetic, and hands-on approach and personality are essential in this role
