Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to perform the work activities within Business Support focusing on Stock Management - Procurement, Stock Management and distribution of Stock to various business units.
You will be responsible for:
Workflow- SmartSheet
- Ensure that all stock requisitions captured on SmartSheet are processed within the defined timelines
- Updates workflow records on SmartSheet
Deliveries and Collections Management
- Delivery and collection of goods for the business as per drafted delivery schedule
- Loads and unloads goods into vehicle ensuring that are items are securely positioned
- Addresses any delivery or collection concerns timeously.
- Safely and timely transport goods to or from point of destination.
- Collects Mail from SAPO once a week or twice per month as advised by Management
Fleet Management
- Compliance with road transport legislation at all times.
- General maintenance and care of the Company vehicle.
- Maintains an updated travel log book at all times.- Manages the company vehicle in line with company policy and procedures
Mail and Document Management
- Mail collected from SAPO is sorted and distributed as appropriate
- Nixes all returned addresses on Pinnacle
- Retrieval of archived documents
- Scanning and indexing of documents where required
Fulfilment and Schedules
- Printing of Fulfilment Packs and Posting
Stock Management
- Ensure Stock is safe and securely stocked at all times
- Handles all stock ordering processes for the Business.
- Processing of stock orders as per authorised business requests.- Conduct Stock distribution in line with Management deadlines- Conduct monthly stock counts- Oversee standard stationary orders by branches online - Waltons platform- Distribution of get a friend gift to members and keeping records updated- Printing Fulfilment and schedule and posting- Capture stock receipts on SAGE300- Generate shipments on SAGE300
Project Management
- Conduct identified projects within Business Support projects in line with defined timelines
Mail Management
- Printing of Fulfilment packs
- Preparation of Month end reports
- Collate stock reports for finance
- Reconcile Stock Count Reports with finance
- Submit all invoices for payment on FETCH
Performance Reporting
- Submitting Daily activities Reports as per daily plans
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Grade 12 or equivalent essential
- Business Administration qualification advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in stock management.
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years' experience working on SAGE300
- Minimum of 1 - 3, Procurement experience required
- Valid drivers' license essential.
- Must be fluent in English, the ability to speak other languages will be an added advantage
- Must be computer literate
