About the position

My client based in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs) is currently looking for a Business Project Manager to join them on an independent contract basis

IT / Finance

Responsibilities

• Work within the business underwriting team as a Business PM
• Report to PO for Data Strategy
• Engage with senior leaders across the business
• Shape delivery of strategic data use cases and manage the execution
• Define, plan, and manage business opportunities, problems, and risks from concept to delivery
• Facilitate, coordinate, consult, and shape through stakeholder engagement at all levels and across BUs
• Manage risks, issues, constraints, dependencies, budgets, and plans

Experience

• Degree (recommended post graduate)
• Business consulting experience and skills
• Project Management experience and proven skills
• Knowledge of Agile
• Atlassian tool experience recommended
• Data capabilities
• Prefer Insurance and / or Financial services knowledge and experience
• Strategic thinking skills and ability to create structure
• Requires conceptual and analytical skills with strong business acumen
• Facilitation

• TOM and Business Architecture
• IT and Solution Architecture
• Design thinking
• Client business and solution knowledge recommended, but not essential
