JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

Manage NMP analytics capability

  • Maintain accuracy of NMP spend data set
  • Oversee monthly extraction, consolidation and validation of NMP spend data set
  • Maintain accuracy of SpendHQ spend visualisation and categorisation platform through quarterly uploads and regular
  • engagement with the supplier
  • Provide data for requests from Strategic Sourcing initiatives and business requests
  • Oversee monthly cleansing, analysis and reporting of Preferential Procurement data
  • Coordinate ad hoc reporting requests from NMP Leadership
Maintain NMP spend categorisation
  • Define and maintain NMP spend categorisation
  • Manage alignment of NMP spend categorisation and Coupa Commodity Tree through analysis and business engagement
Manage the planning, maintenance and reporting of the Strategic Sourcing initiative portfolio
  • Facilitate annual portfolio planning process with Head of NMP and Business Partners
  • Oversee monthly updating, maintenance and reporting of the Strategic Sourcing initiative portfolio
  • Support Strategic Sourcing teams with the planning, calculation and realisation of procurement and financial savings through benefits declarations and / or benefit realisation planning
  • Review and validate all procurement and financial savings for inclusion in reporting
  • Coordinate financial adjustments of validated savings at each budget / projection interval with relevant Finance Business Partners
Manage NMP business analysis capability
  • Lead and develop team of business analysts
  • Manage business analysis capacity to support with Discovery of complex initiatives, relevant Strategic Sourcing analytics and toolkit requirements
Maintain Strategic Sourcing Toolkit
  • Regularly review and update Strategic Sourcing toolkit for relevance and ease of use
  • Coordinate regular knowledge sessions to maintain consistency of toolkit application by Strategic Sourcing teams
  • Engage with relevant TFG SMEs for the inclusion of relevant governance aspects in the Strategic Sourcing toolkit
Support Head of NMP with NMP related planning and reporting requirements
  • Assist with budget and projection cycles
  • Coordinate leadership and NMP team meetings
  • Assist with forward planning and reporting requirements
  • Oversee the Supply to TFG mailbox management and data reference creation
Leadership
  • Oversee talent management for direct reports in terms of recruitment, retention and development.
  • Ensure continuous performance feedback to and development of direct reports
  • Ensure that all staff are motivated, developed, and appraised so that individual and collective performance meets the needs of the customers
  • Effectively manage performance within the Business Process & Analytics team to ensure business objectives are achieved
Stakeholder Relationships
  • Manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the objective of meeting delivery as per the agreed parameters
  • Manage relationships within the business units and NMP
  • Manage relationship with risk and governance partners of respective processes
  • Ensure the engagement with relevant internal stakeholders within TFG.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5 to 10 years' experience in projectized work environment with responsibility for status and / or financial reporting
  • CA(SA) / CIMA (preferable) or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Management reporting experience in Retail (advantage)
  • Project Management / Business Analysis experience
  • Familiarity with project office functions: planning, tracking, reporting, governance, resource management.
  • Experience liaising with internal departments (finance, legal, compliance, risk, etc.)
