Introduction

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The purpose of a Business Intelligence Developer the primary duty of the Business Intelligence Developer is to
transform data into insight that can help to improve the value of the business. The Business Intelligence Developer
generally work with the product owner, team leads and delivery manager, but may also work directly with senior
management and clients to analyse data and deliver reports according to the client’s requirements.

Description
BI Developer  One (1) role We are seeking a talented Jasper BI Developer to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement reporting solutions using Jasper Reports, ensuring that our organization makes informed decisions based on data-driven insights. If you have a strong background in business intelligence and are passionate about transforming data into actionable reports, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and static reports using Jasper Reports and JasperServer.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and understand data needs.
  • Create data models and visualizations that provide valuable insights to end users.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years Business Intelligence development experience
  • BSc (Computer Science or Information Systems) /B Com (Information Systems)/Diploma in
  • Information Systems or similar
  • Proven experience as a Jasper BI Developer or in a similar role with hands-on experience in Jasper Reports and JasperServer.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus.


Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years Business Intelligence development experience
  • BSc (Computer Science or Information Systems) /B Com (Information Systems)/Diploma in Information
    Systems or similar
