Business Intelligence Consultant

About the position

Our client is looking for a motivated Business Intelligence Consultant who is passionate about solving complex business challenges through data, automation and analytics. This opportunity is ideal for a technically minded consultant who enjoys working closely with clients to deliver impactful business intelligence solutions while growing within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement business intelligence solutions.
• Analyse client requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Develop SQL queries, data models and ETL processes.
• Create data visualisations and dashboards using Qlik.
• Ensure data accuracy through reconciliation and validation processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation.
• Prepare and deliver client demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Manage implementations from planning through to deployment.

Requirements

• South African citizen or holder of a valid work permit.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 1 year's experience working with Qlik.
• At least 2 years' experience with SQL, ETL processes and data analysis.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Business Intelligence consulting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
